Kaye Krueger has stepped down from the board to recharge and to spend time with her newly retired husband. We are looking for Board members since we now have a vacancy and there will be three vacancies on the Board in February. Please look within and determine if now is the time for you to step forward and bring your talents to Unity of Appleton! We encourage anyone who is interested to attend the next board meeting July 21 or to contact any current board member.

As Vice-President, Cary is stepping into the President role. We thank Kaye for her sacred service and wish her and Chuck the best in the future!

We acknowledge the time and talents our volunteers have given to our children’s programming. July and August is the time to give them more flexibility in their schedules and enjoy time with their families. Parents are always welcome to bring their children with them to the sanctuary. Sunday school will resume in September.

At our Town Hall meeting June 14 a new fundraiser was unveiled: Unity of Appleton's new Light the Way campaign. We really need to update and repair our current lighting and this fundraiser is a way to do just that. Proceeds from the Rummage Sale  in May and from the Spiritual Wellness Retreat have already started lighting a path towards our goal of $13,325--which is the amount necessary to completely overhaul the lighting in all three floors of our building.

New lights can provide us with a better learning and working environment, let us be more energy-efficient and help us have a more functional, welcoming space for ourselves, our renters and the community!
