This Sunday
Join us this Palm Sunday to hear Rev. Ray Nelson's message Preparing for a Change. Palm Sunday is a transition point between who we are to who we are becoming. We must be fully present to the reality of the moment and ourselves before we can transform and resurrect into who we are to become. As the Daily Word says for this Sunday, By following Jesus' example, I proceed with courage and confidence along the path of fulfillment and transcendence. What we create together in commUNITY we spread out to the world! Sunday's Daily Word: On Palm Sunday, I honor the divine presence within. |

Unity Earth Care In Action
Yesterday Unity youths gathered downstairs in the Café to assemble a NexTrex plastic bag recycling receptacle as part of Unity’s Earth Care efforts. They had an opportunity to meet one another and then assemble the NexTrex receptacle, learning which plastic wrappers, bags and bubble wraps were recyclable. A big thank you to our children for their enthusiasm and participation! Please contribute your recyclable bags, free of paper labels or stickers to the box. Also do not place cellophane type materials in the box. Upon reading the instructions on the box, if you have questions, please contact Linda at Inettdue@gmail.com for more information. |

Looking for a warm welcome!
We’re known for being a warm and welcoming community and that’s something to celebrate! Now, we’d love to take that welcome one step further. What if we shifted our mindset from “visitors” to “guests”? Can you feel the difference? Guests are people we intentionally care for, connect with and make sure feel comfortable from beginning to end. We do a beautiful job greeting people as they arrive. Where we could use a little extra help is after the service. Many of us have responsibilities once the service concludes, and it can be hard to continue those meaningful connections. That’s why we’re looking to expand our welcome team. We’re hoping to create a simple rotation--perhaps a once a month commitment--so more of us can help connect with newcomers while still keeping flexibility in our schedules. What might this look like?
It’s really about presence —making sure no one leaves feeling unnoticed or unsure of what’s next. If you would be willing to help us extend our Unity hospitality in this way, we would be so grateful. Together, we can continue creating the loving, welcoming experience that makes Unity feel like home. Interested? There is a sign-up sheet at the Connect and Serve table! |
